About WhichAmI
WhichAmI is a personality quiz and self-discovery site built for curious people who want a thoughtful, well-written take on what their answers might say about them. It mixes classic personality frameworks with playful, modern quiz formats, then wraps each result in a short, personalized narrative. Everything on the site is free to use, with no sign-up and no paywall.
Who Builds This Site
WhichAmI is built, owned, and maintained by Vikas Dulgunde, a software engineer with around six years of professional experience building web applications, based in London. WhichAmI is the name of the site; Vikas is the real person behind it. There is no faceless content farm here and no anonymous "team": one engineer designs the product, writes the code, authors and edits the content, and keeps it running.

Why That Makes This Site Trustworthy
A lot of quiz sites hide who is behind them. WhichAmI does the opposite, because the honest version is the stronger one.
- First-hand engineering expertise. WhichAmI's tools, scoring logic, share features, and reference pages are all designed and written by a working software engineer. When a quiz scores your answers, computes a result code, or generates a narrative, that mechanism was built and tested first-hand, not bolted together from a template nobody understands. The same person who wrote the code is accountable for how it behaves.
- Transparent methodology. Rather than ask you to take claims on faith, the site documents exactly how quizzes are built, what frameworks they draw on, how results are produced, and how mistakes get fixed. That process is written up in plain English on the Standards page so you can judge the work for yourself.
- A real point of accountability. Corrections, complaints, and questions go to a named person who can actually change the code and the content. Nothing on this site is "owned by the algorithm." If something is wrong, there is someone to fix it.
What I Am, And What I Am Not
I want to be straight about the limits of my authority, because that honesty is the whole point.
I am a software engineer, not a psychologist, clinician, or licensed counselor. That makes me a legitimate first-hand authority on the things this site actually is: web tools, interactive quizzes, scoring and result logic, and clearly-framed reference content about popular personality models. It does not make me qualified to diagnose anyone or to issue clinical advice, and I never claim otherwise. The personality frameworks referenced here (such as the Big Five, type indicators, attachment styles, and love languages) are summarized from published, widely-known material and presented for self-reflection, not as a clinical assessment.
You will not find invented credentials anywhere on this site. No fake degrees, no purchased certifications, no imaginary "reviewed by Dr. So-and-so" badges, no stock-photo experts. If a claim about expertise appears on WhichAmI, it is one I can actually stand behind.
How The Quizzes Are Made
Every quiz goes through a consistent process, documented in full on the Standards page:
- Brief and research. Each quiz starts from a short brief that sets out the goal, the framework or theme it draws on, the audience, and the tone.
- Drafting. Questions, answer options, and result archetypes are drafted from that brief and any source material.
- Editing. Vikas reads and edits every question, every result, and every narrative template before a quiz goes live. Nothing is published unread.
- Build and test. The quiz, its scoring, and its result pages are implemented and tested as working software, not just words on a page.
- Maintenance. Reader corrections and feedback feed back into the library over time. Substantive changes are logged.
What Makes The Results Different
Most quizzes drop you into a generic bucket. WhichAmI generates a short, personalized written narrative from your answers, so a result reads like a profile rather than a sticker. The writing is where the effort goes, because the story you get back is the part you actually remember.
The Core Principle: Entertainment, Not Diagnosis
WhichAmI is for self-reflection and entertainment. It is not a psychological assessment, a diagnostic tool, or medical advice. This is stated clearly on every personality-core quiz, and the results are written to honor it. If you want a real clinical assessment, please talk to a qualified professional.
